Belgian Parliament passes resolution regarding so-called "Armenian genocide"
The Belgian Parliament accepted unanimously the resolution late on Thursday regarding the so-called "Armenian genocide" claims.
APA reports quoting news.am that 124 members of the House of Representatives voted for the document, 8 abstained and no one voted against.

The opposition criticized text of the resolution noting the importance of an ambiguous document. However, Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel voted for the document, as he recognized the Armenian Genocide on behalf of his government on June 18.

The Belgian Senate acknowledged the Armenian Genocide in 1998.
